The train is undoubtedly the means of transport with the most fascinating and richest history. But France has set itself apart from other countries with its Trains à Grande Vitesse (TGV).
Still a symbol of French technology today, the TGV set a new record on April 3, 2007: a top speed of 574.8 km/h! This shattered the previous record set in 1990. The target was "V 150", i.e. 150 metres covered per second.
This poster, the epilogue to a trilogy starting in 2019, features the streamlined locomotive of the 90's, on the TGV Est Européenne line. It picks up on the theme of the leaky lines of the other posters.
