The train is undoubtedly the means of transport with the most fascinating and richest history. But France has set itself apart from other countries with the Trains à Grande Vitesse (TGV).
Still a symbol of French technology today, the TGV set a new record in 1990: a top speed of over 500 km/h! This shattered the previous record set in 1981.
This poster revisits this event, the predominantly gray colors showing the evolution of the TGV livery, here in the predominantly gray Atlantic version. The streamlines, simplified to the extreme, evoke speed and safety.
