This book traces the history of one of the few French companies to complement the famous precursor Jouef. Appreciated by many model builders, MKD models and accessories are still widely available on the second-hand market. The brand was bought out in 2006 by Hornby Hobbies, who decided to revive part of it in 2021.
The author:
The son of a railroad worker, Hervé Perton spent his youth at Franois station (25), then in the heart of an S.N.C.F housing estate in Besançon. Today, he has a 1/87th scale modular layout where you can admire full-scale models, as well as many revisited MKD kits. The author has written a well-documented work on a leading brand of atmospheric model railroading at the end of the 20th century.
